FRESH INK: A COMPOSER’S WORKSHOP

October 17, 2026 @ 2:00 pm

Are you a seasoned composer who is new to writing for choir? Are you comfortable writing for other instruments, but would like to see what makes writing for choir different? We want to meet you!

On Saturday, October 17, Ephemeral Love will host a reading workshop for up to 6 composers, where we will sing through your pieces (or parts of pieces!) for you to hear what they sound like, for you to ask the choir questions, and see how choral singers work with your music. We will be joined by composer Andrew Campling, who conducts the Thames Chamber Choir and the London Docklands Singers.

To be considered, send an e-mail to Artistic Director [ryan.connolly[at]ephemeralllove.org] with your name, a PDF of what music you’d like to workshop, and a short description of your musical experience by [date]. Workshop attendees will be notified by [date]. All are welcome to attend and listen and participate. Refreshments will be served.
